True love is blind.
That has never been more evident than in these unlikely, but beautiful, stories of animals adopting animals from other species into their families.
1. When this lioness ate the mother antelope of this little creature, she then took the babe in and treated her like family.
2. This cat took on three ducklings into her care after losing her own kittens.
3. Not only did these pigs raise this adorable little kitten, but she actually nursed with them!
4. This jersey cow also doesn't seem to mind a few non-cows going in for a snack.
5. Henrietta the chicken and Gertie the goose make an unlikely but adorable couple and have several ducklings they're raising together.
It's 2014, people...get on board!
6. Anna's calling has been to help raise puppies at a wildlife park in England, and we think that's awesome.

13. The owners of this cat, Sugar, snuck a sick chipmunk in with her litter. She loved him like one of her own and raised him, bringing him back to health.
14. Rocky and Cindy, a great dane and a tiny doe, are best buds.
15. This spotted foe was left by its mother, but befriended a dalmatian instead...and they almost match!
