'The Girl On The Train' Trailer Is Finally Here And It's NUTS
The trailer DEFINITELY lives up to the hype.
Aaaand the wait is over! Ever since it was announced Paula Hawkin's best-selling psychological thriller novel "The Girl on the Train" was becoming a movie, fans have been freaking out. Piggybacking off the hype of Gillian Flynn's thriller "Gone Girl," "The Girl on the Train" is full of heart-racing action and complex characters who aren't all they seem on the surface.
The trailer focuses heavily on the book's three compelling characters—Rachel, Anna and Megan—and you get the sense not all of them can be trusted. Amazing leads like Emily Blunt, Haley Bennet, Luke Evans, and Rebecca Ferguson will surely drive the suspense right until the very end.
Set to a slowed-down version of Kanye West's "Heartless," it will without a doubt send chills down your spine...and I don't say that lightly.
IT'S HERE. Fans of Paula Hawkin's thriller "The Girl on the Train" finally have their first look at the film, and HOLY SUSPENSE.
We get our first glimpse of Emily Blunt as Rachel, an alcoholic who notices a woman disappear on her commute to work.
Rachel passes by a couple's house every morning during her commute, and begins to fantasize about their perfect life together, in an attempt to escape from her crumbling life. In reality, the woman she compulsively spies each day is unhappily married—so when the mystery woman disappears, Rachel becomes an untrustworthy witness.
Rebecca Ferguson plays Anna, Rachel's ex-husband's mistress-turned-wife.
So much drama.
Haley Bennett slays her role as the complicated Megan Hipwell, who cheats on her husband Scott, then suspiciously goes missing.
Between cheating, lying and tons of steamy sex scenes...
...the trailer is also packed with intense action that'll make you never, ever want to trust anyone again.
"The Girl on the Train" hits theaters Oct. 7.
