Caitlyn Jenner's Newest Cover Will Show Us A Side Of Her We've Never Seen
Trust us—she won't be wearing a swimsuit.
It's been almost one year since Caitlyn Jenner made her debut on the June 2015 cover of Vanity Fair, and now the Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete is reportedly ready to bare it all for Sports Illustrated.
Caitlyn Jenner will reportedly pose nude on the cover of Sports Illustrated to celebrate the 40th anniversary of her Olympic gold medal win.
A source tells US Weekly that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star will appear on a summer cover of Sports Illustrated wearing "nothing but an American flag and her Olympic medal."
This will be the first time Caitlyn (formerly Bruce) has posed with her gold medal post-transition, and the source says "she's excited about that."
Since coming out as a woman in June 2015, Caitlyn has been huge influential in the LGBT community.
Caitlyn's first major appearance since her transition took place at the ESPY Awards, where she gave a powerful speech about being true to oneself.
"It's been eye-opening, inspiring, but also frightening," Caitlyn said in her ESPY speech. "All across this country, right now, all across the world, at this very moment, there are young people coming to terms with being transgender."
The fact that Cait will be posing proudly as her true self with her prized possession will be empowering both for herself and for the trans community.
Believe it or not, Cait won't be the first Jenner to pose nude with a medal, because Kris already beat her to the punch.
That's right, Caitlyn's ex-wife Kris Jenner posed nude in 2007 on an episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" to help Kim decide if she should pose for Playboy or not. Pretty sure Cait will outshine Kris with this one though. Sorry not sorry.
