This Harry Potter Wedding Would Make Even Voldemort Smile
Accio love!
We've seen some pretty incredible Harry Potter wedding ideas in the past, and they're only getting more popular as the fans who grew up loving the books start to get married. Unfortunately for those of us who are hoping to have the best Harry Potter wedding ever, Lewis Byrom and his new wife Cassie-Leigh Byrom probably have us beat, unless you can actually get J.K. Rowling to perform the ceremony.
The couple got married at Manchester Town Hall, which is basically Hogwarts.
Lewis proposed to Cassie at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida, so it's been magic since the beginning.
The wedding favors at the reception were handmade wands.
Hand. Made. Wands. They gave out 130 of them, that is some real dedication to theme.
One of the readings in the ceremony was from 'Order of Phoenix.'
All weddings should have readings from Harry Potter, tbh.
Their wedding cake was practically too beautiful to think of eating...
It's complete with an illustration of The Tale of the Three Brothers, house crests and the cutest possible cake toppers.
Voldemort in a top hat and Bellatrix in a wedding gown? Yes, please.
While the bride and groom did stick to traditional wedding outfits, the bride did step it up with her House heels...
And the groom had the most perfect cufflinks.
Even the flowers followed the theme. They're made from pages of Harry Potter books...
(Also, is that Salazar Slytherin's Locket? Well, not technically, but it's pretty close.)
Seriously, how gorgeous are these bouquets!?
The bar swapped out liquor labels for potion ingredients, which is an absolutely perfect touch.
Their wedding rings also had "Always" engraved in them!!
Also, that ring looks an awful lot like Marvolo Gaunt's ring...
There were a ton of little touches that made the wedding absolutely perfect.
Like Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem sitting on top of a stack of books, just like in the Room of Requirement.
Or this tiny Sword of Gryffindor that could definitely be used to kill a Basilisk.
Congrats to the happy couple, and thanks for setting the Harry Potter Wedding bar so damn high.
