There are definite benefits to having a big dog, but it's also a struggle to own an animal that looks like a horse but acts it's tiny.
Sink baths aren't a thing.
A big dog's bark is scary, even if they're not trying to be intimidating.
You worry that he might accidentally crush your smaller pets.
Nap time is pretty much impossible at your house.
He really thinks he's a little lap dog.
Your dog thinks it can sit on your lap like your kid.
You can't always give him a proper hug.
Your large sectional turns into a loveseat.
Your smaller dogs always want to climb all over your big one.
You porch swing may have fallen a time or two.
They can reach higher spots in the house than you can.
Which means there is no such thing as a good hiding spot.
But you love your dog. No matter how goofy and ridiculous he might look.
