Aaron Carter's Surprise Music Video Is The Comeback No One Asked For
Daaaamn, Aaron! Back at it again with the comeback attempt!
The moment literally no one has been waiting for is finally here: Aaron Carter's new music video just dropped.
Don't get me wrong — I loved Aaron Carter and his party when I was in elementary school. But now that I'm an adult and have been to better parties, the thrill is gone.
As a quick refresher, this is the first music video Aaron's released since 2005's "Saturday Night."
Notice the swaggalicious clothing Aaron is sporting above.
The new video, "Fool's Gold," is a teaser for his new album, coming later this year under his own record label.
Exciting, right? Like I said, literally no one has been anticipating this moment besides Aaron himself, who actually acted as the director of this video.
Actually, the song isn't even bad. I could see myself listening to it. On the other hand, the video...
It starts off with this weird kaleidoscope thing. Already confused because I thought the song was about gold.
Next, Aaron walks in wearing....I don't even know.
We then get a closeup of Mr. Carter with his lovely lady friend laying behind him in bed.
Pause. That neck tattoo is gigantic for NO reason...and it's not even the worst tattoo in this video.
Okay, shoutout to Aaron for having a normal-size woman in his music video.
But seriously, she's gorgeous.
Remember when I talked about problematic tattoos? Aaron literally plays his keyboard tattoo to the melody of the song.
It lights up and everything. Yikes.
Back to the kaleidoscope again.
This just makes me uncomfortable.
Like, why did he cover his whole body, except for his face and his tattoos, in black paint?
Kaleidoscope time again! This time, Aaron's wearing a kimono that, honestly, I'd like to borrow sometime.
Seriously. If you're reading this, Aaron, hit me up and we can trade kimonos.
Again with this outfit? Just give it a rest. Please.
How will Aaron do on the charts? I don't know...he has some tough competition against the Hamburger Helper glove, which just released a mixtape.
I mean, the Hamburger Helper mixtape is lit.
