Nick Jonas & Demi Lovato Go A Cappella In 'Carpool Karaoke' & It's Amazing
THOSE HARMONIES, THOUGH.
We're still getting over the amazingness of Gwen Stefani's Carpool Karaoke, featuring guest stars Julia Roberts and George Clooney, but Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato sure gave them a run for their money. The former Disney stars and real-life BFFs (who are touring together this summer!) joined James Corden for his Carpool Karaoke segment on "The Late Late Show" on May 16. They talked about everything from purity rings to Nick's exes, and belted out a mix of each other's songs.
PS: We're all in favor of James joining Demi and Nick on tour.
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas appeared on "Carpool Karaoke" with James Corden and it was just as amazing as we anticipated.
They first walked James through their early '00s dating lives, because obviously, that's v. important.
Just like the rest of us, James was especially curious about Nick's extensive dating while wearing his purity ring.
Demi seemed to know A LOT about Nick's dating life, and wasn't afraid to poke fun at his on-and-off relationships with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. Nick admitted he fell in love and decided to take the ring off (awwwwww).
James asked if Demi and Nick ever had anything romantic between them, and they said no. See, guys and girls can be just friends!
After gossip time, they sang Demi's song "Heart Attack," and James got really really into it.
They also covered Nick's song with Tove Lo, "Close," and Demi and James took the lyrics literally.
James wanted to know if there was room for him on their tour. To show off his skills, he joined Demi and Nick for a hands-down AMAZING a cappella version of "Jealous."
Seriously, those HARMONIES. YES, JAMES, YOU'RE IN.
The trio decided to take to the streets of LA and give an impromptu performance in front of a TMZ tour bus.
They belted out "Confident" and Demi showed off her fabulous vocals while Nick played guitar and James banged on bucket drums.
Between the juicy gossip, the roundup of songs and their epic street performance, everything about this is incredible.
