They May Be Miniature Figurines, But Everyone Can Relate To These Everyday Work Scenes
Columbus, Ohio-based ad agency strategist, Derrick Lin, has been in the advertising business for some time. And like any industry, after you've worked in it for long enough, you start to become oddly familiar with its norms and customs.
In an effort to depict the norms, and sometimes annoyances, of working in the advertising business, Lin creatively puts together recognizable office-themed scenes using miniature figurines and props. Each picture playfully showcases a different ad agency norm, ranging anywhere from its  high turnover, to the overwhelming workloads, to the all-to-familiar early morning client trips.
"Monday comes too soon when we worked the whole weekend."
"It’s never smooth sailing when writing a creative brief."
"It is impossible to get our coworkers’ attention when they wear headphones."
"Sometimes we just want to toss everything and not care about it."
"It is impossible to get everyone to a meeting on time."
"A day trip to see a client is practically a night trip when you have to get up at 4am."
"Just when we start to like our coworkers, they leave."
