Why Meghan Trainor Took Down Her New Music Video Will Make You Say YASSS
The singer was not happy her waist was made to look "that teeny."
Meghan Trainor has always embraced her natural body type. Her breakout hit "All About That Bass" was entirely dedicated to celebrating her curvy figure and slamming Hollywood's "ideal" body type and Photoshop.
In fact, Photoshop has been a huge controversy in Hollywood—especially on social media. Stars like Victoria Beckham, Beyoncé, Britney Spears and more have been accused of Photoshopping their pictures, and fans are quick to point it out.
As Meghan sings in "All About That Bass," "We know that shit ain't real/Come on now, make it stop." It seems like she's being extra true to her own words—because when finding out her waist was Photoshopped in her "Me Too" music video, she took matters into her own hands.
Trainor dropped her "Me Too" music video on May 9, but quickly pulled it after discovering her body had been altered.
Meghan took to Snapchat to explain that producers "Photoshopped the crap" out of her waist and that she's "sick of it."
"They photoshopped the crap out of me," Meghan said. "I'm so sick of it, and I'm over it, so I took it down until they fix it. My waist is not that teeny; I had a bomb waist that night. I don't know why they didn't like my waist, but I didn't approve that video, and it went out for the world, so I'm embarrassed. I told them to fix it ASAP Rocky because I will be going to Times Square to play it for my fans so I hope they fix it for me. I'm sorry."
PREACH, GIRL.

Meghan's fans are especially proud of her for standing up for all body types and putting Photoshop on blast.
You go, girl!
